Tea Time – How it All Got Started
This sign was put up when a Fort Pierce Police Department lieutenant came to the restaurant in an undercover car and told us we needed to remove our sign. We informed the officer—who was head of Internal Affairs—that the sign is protected under Freedom of Speech and would not be coming down at her request.
Ever since that day, the Sweetie’s Sign has been used for topics we feel are important (and, of course, our jokes to keep you laughing)
